In order to celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in the afternoon of June 29, the General Party Branch of Hongtu Technology organized a special situation report meeting, where Professor Yu Fugong, vice president of the Party School of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of CPC and vice dean of the Guangdong Institute of Public Administration, was invited to give a special report on the spirits of the 2020 national two sessions. Zhou Leren, secretary of the General Party Branch of the company, presided over the meeting and lectured on the special party class.All the party members, managements above director level in each division and all the members of Guangzhou Operation Center attended this meeting.
Professor Yu Fugong pointed out during reporting that the National People’s Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in 2020 was an "unusual" important meeting held at a time when major strategic results had been achieved in the nationwide battle against COVID-19, and the successful convening of NPC & CPPCC demonstrated the vitality and superiority of China's democratic political system. General Secretary Xi Jinping visited delegations four times and delivered a series of important speeches during this period, pointing out the direction for coordinating to promote epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development and ensuring the completion of the decisive battle for a moderately prosperous society in all respects and the decisive battle against poverty.
Professor Yu Fugong made a comprehensive and in-depth explanation of the spirit of the NPC & CPPCC through profound theoretical analysis and detailed data interpretation in respect of the spirit of General Secretary Xi's important speeches and the thought of people-centered development, China's economic and social development and epidemic prevention and control since 2019, analysis and judgment of current domestic and international situation, China's main targets and tasks for economic and social development in 2020 and the significance of deliberating and passing the Civil Code and National Security Law for Hong Kong.
Comrade Zhou Leren stated that this year marked the end of the decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and the decisive battle against poverty and also the end of "the 13th Five-Year Plan". Under the circumstance that the COVID-19 pandemic had brought unprecedented severe challenges to the world, the successful convening of the NPC & CPPCC was of great significance to strengthen China's confidence and promote economic and social development. The general Party members and cadres should accurately get hold of the spiritual essence of NPC & CPPCC, integrate their thinking and actions into the spirit of General Secretary's speeches and the decisions and plans of the Party Central Committee and make energetic contributions for striving to complete the annual operation and production tasks.
Comrade Zhou Leren also lectured the special Party course titled Strive to Build a Loyal, Clean and Responsible Team of High-quality Cadres--the Standard for "Good Cadres" in a New Era. The Party course analyzed and explained the twenty-character standard for "good cadres" in a new era put forward by General Secretary Xi and the requirements for its implementation, and in conjunction with Administrative Provisions on the Leaders of Enterprises Directly Under Guangdong Province, interpreted the selection criteria and management requirements for leading cadres of state-owned enterprises. Zhou Leren encouraged all leading cadres of the company to compare themselves to the twenty-character standard for "good cadres" in a new era, always kept a sense of responsibility, a passion and an ambition to run the enterprises wholeheartedly and concentrate on creating the first-class ones, built a team of good cadres and strove to be good cadres.
